Your story!

Let's start with 2004. For as long as I could remember I looked forward to my final year of Elementary school, because it was customary for the grade 8 class to take a final trip to Larry Land before graduation. Everyone raved about how much fun they had working as a team in the outdoors, and I couldn't wait. It was in 2004 I swore I would take LP's class when I was in grade 11 -Crestwood's PLD (Personal Leadership Development Course). It was the course where I grew into an adult with leadership, respect for others and myself, a passion for helping people, and a love for the outdoors. LP retired from the program in 2007, and once I graduated I returned to the program as a volunteer, because I knew and loved the values that the program instilled in the students and how necessary it was for everyone to gain access to a facility and mentors where they learn how to be themselves, and how to be a part of a team. I credit this program, and Larry so much for moulding me into the person I am today. I highly encourage and recommend anyone looking for an amazing leadership experience, whether athletic, corporate or personal to work with LP and his team. Best wishes from a 2007 PLD grad, Stephanie
